The Political Economy of Communication is the journal of IAMCR's Political Economy Section

The Political Economy of Communication is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the auspices of the IAMCR Political Economy section. It showcases original research from established and emerging scholars and commentaries on contemporary media-related issues. Volume 9, Number 1 is now available online. 

9.1 is the Covid pandemic-themed issue. Contents are listed below. 

Submissions for Volume 9.2 and 10.1 in 2022 are now being received. Authors of papers submitted to IAMCR 2021 online conference with a political economy theme are encouraged to submit their papers for publication.
