1/ IAMCR 2023 LYON | COUNTDOWN FOR SUBMISSION FEB 9
January is almost over! Just about three weeks left for the deadline to submit your proposal to the PCR section here: https://iamcr2023.exordo.com/
The Participatory Communication Research Section of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) invites the submission of proposals for papers and panels for IAMCR 2023, to be held in Lyon, France, from 9 to 13 July (Lyon23) with an Online Conference Papers (OCP23) component from 26 June to 5 July 2023. The deadline for submission is 9 February 2023, at 23.59 UTC.
The main theme for IAMCR 2023, “Inhabiting the planet: Challenges for media, communication and beyond” emphasizes the need to relook at our understandings of the planet at large and what it means to inhabit a fast evolving mediated world.

2/ CALL FOR REVIEWERS
The Participatory Communication Research Section invites Reviewers for the abstract proposals received by the section towards IAMCR Lyon 2023. Through the years we at PCR have relied on the volunteer work of our reviewers which go a long way in organizing the conference. We fully appreciate the reviewer’s contribution as crucial for the selection process. If you would like to be part of this team, please send your note of interest indicating “REVIEWER CANDIDATE” as the subject of the mail no later than January 30th to iamcr.pcr@gmail.com. Please indicate your affiliation, brief CV and your subjects of expertise according to the topics of the PCR call for the conference. Please check them here: https://iamcr.org/lyon2023/cfp-pcr

¡Enero está a punto de terminar! Quedan apenas tres semanas para que finalice el período de presentación de propuestas en la Sección de Investigación en Comunicación Participativa aquí: https://iamcr2023.exordo.com/
La Sección de Investigación en Comunicación Participativa de la International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) invita a la presentación de propuestas de ponencias y paneles para la IAMCR 2023, que se celebrará en Lyon, Francia, del 9 al 13 de julio, con un componente de ponencias en línea (Online Conference Papers, OCP23) del 26 de junio al 5 de julio de 2023. La fecha límite para enviar propuestas es el 9 de febrero de 2023, a las 23.59 UTC.
El tema principal de la IAMCR 2023, "Habitar el planeta: Desafíos para los medios, la comunicación y más allá", subraya la necesidad de reconsiderar nuestra comprensión del planeta en general y de lo que significa habitar un mundo mediático en rápida evolución.
El límite para enviar propuestas es el 9 de febrero de 2023, a las 23.59 UTC.

2/ INVITACIÓN PARA REVISORES
La Sección de Investigación en Comunicación Participativa les invita a participar como revisores de las propuestas de resúmenes recibidas para IAMCR Lyon 2023. A lo largo de los años, en la Sección hemos confiado en el trabajo voluntario de las y los revisores, que contribuyen en gran medida a la organización de la conferencia. Apreciamos plenamente la contribución de las y los revisores como crucial para el proceso de selección. Si desea formar parte de este equipo, por favor envíe un mensaje a iamcr.pcr@gmail.com con el asunto "CANDIDATO A REVISOR", a más tardar el 30 de enero.
