1/ THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE IAMCR 2021 CONFERENCE
The PCR section thanks all the members and participants of the IAMCR Nairobi 2021 for making the event a lively platform for scientific discussion. We organized one round Keynote session, four Live Interactive Forums and fifteen Online Conference Paper sessions.
The Section had a stimulating conference which reflected the spirit of participation by fostering dialogue, deliberation and co-operation from the participants: authors, reviewers, presenters, chairs, discussants and respondents. The PCR Head acknowledges and recognizes all the energy and hard work you all put in this endeavour and we want to express our gratitude: THANK YOU!

2/ IT’S NOT OVER YET: IAMCR 2021 GOES ON TILL SEPTEMBER 12TH
If you did not get a chance to absorb it all, if you missed a particular session, if there’s a paper you are really interested in but did not get the opportunity to read or comment, you still can do it. Though the official dates of the conference are over, the online papers, keynote address and the interactive forums are active and will be available until September 12th 2021. The engagements, conversations and deliberations will ensure the spirit of the conference continues and fosters intellectual exchange and knowledge transfer.

3/ IAMCR 2021 OCP SESSIONS ARE IN PROGRESS
The PCR section has 61 papers which are part of fifteen panels and are open for discussion until September 12th 2021. Comments and feedback on these papers are invited keeping in line with the IAMCR’s CCC model (Constructive, Courteous and still critical).

4/ IAMCR 2021 PCR KEYNOTE ADDRESS AND LIVE INTERACTIVE FORUMS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE
For the IAMCR 2021, the PCR section organized one pre-recorded Keynote address and four online Live Interactive Forums.
The Keynote session was titled "Participatory Communication Research in Africa: a round keynote talk"
The speakers were Colin Chasi, Lauren Dyll, Dorothy Njoroge, Wallace Chuma and Monica Chibita who presented the contributions of African studies to the Participatory Communication Research field and shared their views and experiences. The keynote session was chaired by Ana Duarte Melo & Dorismilda Flores-Márquez (PCR Head).

1/ GRACIAS POR SU PARTICIPACIÓN EN IAMCR 2021
La Sección de Investigación en Comunicación Participativa agradece a las y los integrantes y participantes de IAMCR Nairobi 2021 por hacer de este evento una plataforma viva para la discusión científica. Organizamos una sesión inaugural, cuatro foros interactivos en vivo y 15 sesiones de ponencias en línea.
La Sección tuvo una conferencia estimulante que reflejó el espíritu de participación, fomentando el diálogo, la deliberación y la cooperación de las y los participantes: autores, revisores, ponentes, coordinadores y respondientes. Desde la coordinación de la Sección reconocemos toda la energía y el trabajo duro que todas y todos ustedes pusieron en este proyecto y queremos expresar nuestra gratitud: ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS!

2/ NO HA TERMINADO: IAMCR 2021 CONTINÚA HASTA EL 12 DE SEPTIEMBRE
Si no tuvieron oportunidad de estar en todo, se perdieron alguna sesión en particular, hay ponencias que les interesaban pero no hubo tiempo para leer o comentar, todavía pueden hacerlo. Si bien las fechas oficiales de la conferencia terminaron ya, las ponencias en línea, así como los videos de la sesión inaugural y los foros interactivos siguen activos y estarán disponibles hasta el 12 de septiembre. Los intercambios, conversaciones y deliberaciones garantizarán que el espíritu de la conferencia continúe y fomente el intercambio intelectual y la transferencia de conocimiento.

4/ LA SESIÓN INAUGURAL Y LOS FOROS INTERACTIVOS SIGUEN DISPONIBLES EN LÍNEA
Para IAMCR 2021, la Sección de Investigación en Comunicación Participativa organizó una sesión inaugural y cuatro foros interactivos.
La sesión inaugural fue titulada “Investigación en Comunicación Participativa en África: una mesa redonda magistral”.
Las y los participantes fueron Colin Chasi, Lauren Dyll, Dorothy Njoroge, Wallace Chuma and Monica Chibita, quienes hablaron de las contribuciones de los estudios africanos al campo de la investigación en comunicación participativa. Para ello compartieron sus perspectivas y experiencias. La sesión fue coordinada por Ana Duarte Melo y Dorismilda Flores-Márquez, líderes de la Sección.
