This message was sent to all members of the Popular Culture Working Group on 22/09/2023. It includes a link to the minutes of the working group's business meeting held in Lyon on 13 July 2023.
We look back on a very pleasant and successful conference in Lyon earlier this year. Despite the temperatures, the Popular Culture Working Group's (POP) sessions were well attended, and discussions were as lively and interesting as usual. To all of you who presented offline or online: thank you for your generosity in sharing your thoughts, ideas and academic output with us.
During the conference the POP working group also held a business meeting. You can download the minutes here. In general, the working group would like to become more active throughout the year. All POP members are invited to share their thoughts and desires with us. Please, make sure to get in touch with us if you feel you would like to play a more active role in the working group.
For now, depending on your location, we wish you a pleasant autumn or spring, and we hope to see you at our next conference in Christchurch, New Zealand from 30 June to 4 July 2024.
Best wishes,
Tonny Krijnen, Florian Vanlee, Yongliang Gao
Heads of the Popular Culture Working Group (POP)
