Mandate
The Ethics Task Force has the responsibility to promote a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all members of IAMCR during its conferences and other events both online and in-person, and that activities of the Association take place in a collegial and respectful manner. To this end, the Task Force has the following mandate:
- To develop and disseminate a Code of Conduct for the Association, which will be periodically revisited to ensure that it is comprehensive and clear.
- To serve as a forum for the discussion of ethical issues that come to its notice directly or indirectly
- To provide support to the Confidential Contact Persons who have been designated to handle any complaints or issues that members may wish to bring
- To undertake other sensitization and awareness generation activities from time to time relating to ethical conduct and academic integrity
