Members who don’t want to or can’t travel to Lyon will be able to join in the Online Conference Papers component –OCP23– which will launch on 26 June. The deadline to submit abstracts for IAMCR 2023, both on-site and online, is less than a month away, on 9 February 2023 at 23h59 UTC. You can read the general call for proposals, and the individual calls for proposals of IAMCR's 33 thematic sections and working groups, and Flow34 on the conference website.

Travel grants

More than twenty five travel grants of up to US$1,500 will be made available to early-career scholars, who are members of IAMCR, reside in low and middle income countries and have papers accepted for presentation on site at the Lyon23 conference. The grants are intended to help offset the travel costs of IAMCR members who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference. Read more >

Preconferences

Several pre-conference events are being planned for the days leading up to the main conference in Lyon and its surrounding areas. These events can be organised by individual or institutional IAMCR members alone or in partnership with others. There is still time to apply for a preconference, until the 9 February deadline. Preconferences will be announced on the conference website as they are confirmed.

Interested in hosting a future IAMCR conference?

IAMCR will consider proposals for hosting and organisation of conferences for 2025 and beyond.  IAMCR conferences provide universities, regional academic associations, research institutes and policy centres with significant opportunities to showcase their work and promote their activities, while fostering energy and creativity around a large international project. Annabelle Sreberny (1949-2022)
